AirRace
Gliding race intelligence from IGC files, task data and live flight records.
AirRace transforms IGC files, live tracking, task data and historical competition records into tactical intelligence for glider pilots, coaches, race directors and organisers. It reconstructs every contest day: thermals, glides, final glides, energy lines, speed choices, pilot profiles, weather context and race simulations.
Connected to ARX9, AirRace removes the friction of manual file handling. Race data can move directly from aircraft to analysis, giving pilots and organisers a cleaner, faster and more reliable competition workflow.
Understand why time was gained or lost.
AirRace helps pilots see the tactical story behind each flight: climb quality, thermal selection, glide efficiency, speed-to-fly behaviour, final-glide decisions, route choices and comparison against the field.
Not just a replay. A performance engine for understanding what the best pilots did differently.
Cleaner data. Better races. Less manual work.
Race directors can work with live tracking, task briefings, scoring support, replay tools and post-task analytics. With ARX9 integration, aircraft data can flow automatically into the race environment, reducing the need for awkward uploads, missing files and post-flight friction.
From flight traces to race understanding.
AirRace analyses thermals, glides, transitions, final glides, terrain effects, weather context and pilot behaviour. It helps explain not only where a pilot flew, but why a specific tactical choice mattered.
AirRace becomes stronger when connected to ARX9 and AirStream.
ARX9 provides the aircraft-side data source. AirStream can bring live position and streaming into the event experience. AirMan can support club, aircraft and pilot records. Together, the Airsuite ecosystem turns race flying into a connected data environment before, during and after the task.
Built around real gliding flight data.
AirRace is currently being developed around historical gliding flight data and private analysis workflows. Public demos and case studies will be added as they become available.
Race intelligence for pilots, clubs and organisers.
Use AirRace to analyse performance, support race operations and build a deeper understanding of gliding competition.
